Port Aventura Golf.
This superb 45 hole golf complex was designed by the renowed Australian golfer, Greg Norman, together with Alfonso Vidaor and Magi Sarda.
The north course, designed by Norman ( 18 holes , par 70 ) is a flat course with wetlands. It is the most techincally challenging of the 3 and has a Mediterranean style club house.
The middle course, also desgined by Greg Norman ( 9 holes, par 3 ) is a relatively easy course, perfect for the intemediate player. being the middle course it can easily be combined with 9 holes form eith of the other two courses in periods of maintenance.
The south course, designed by Vidaor and Sarda ( 18 holes, par 72 ) follws the natural contours of the gently sloping ground. It is designed around pinewoods and has wonderful sea views.
Aiguesverds Golf Club.
The flat terrain is bordered with olive and almond trees. From the white tees this is a very long golf course measuring nearly 7,000 yards. The forward tees make for a less daunting experience for higher handicappers. The signature hole is the short Par 3 third. Inspired by the 17th at Sawgrass, it has an island green completely surrounded by water. The club has recently changed owership and has received excellant feedback from recent returning golfers.

Bonmont Teres Noves
Robert Trent Jones Jnr designed Bonmont, which was built in 1990. When someone of Trent Jones' reputation designs a golf course, you know the owner’s intention is to build a serious course that gains international acclaim. The course makes full use of the natural landscape, and to enhance this, has 90 bunkers and some testing water hazards, with a twisting ravine coming into play on several holes. The course has wonderful views over the Mediterranean, and a spectacular mountain backdrop. Bonmont hosted the 1991, 1996 Catalan Open, won by no less than distinguished players such as José Maria Olazabal and Paul Lawrie respectively. The practice facilities at Bonmont are superb. Bonmont is up there amongst the top courses in Catalonia.UKSG Difficultly Rating

Costa Dorada Golf Club
Includes one of the longest holes in SpainA private members’ course built in 1983, It covers some 136 acres, with numerous doglegs and hilltop tee shots offering magnificent views over the course and the sea. It’s very pretty, with pines, olive trees, willows and palm trees dotted all over. The course also offers variety and a challenge. The 13th is one of the longest holes in Spain, measuring 637 yards from the back tees. The clubhouse is a beautiful converted Masia (farmhouse) where the interior design is typically Catalan and very swish. The restaurant is superb. Booking well in advance at weekends is recommended.
UKSG Difficultly Rating
The course is not as long as Bonmont or Panoramica so it’s a bit easier for high handicaps. Costa Dorada has frequent narrow doglegs, so accuracy is required.

Panaramica Golf & Country Club
A well designed and enjoyable courseThoughtfully and strategically designed by Bernhard Langer, this is a quality golf course with outstanding practice facilities. Mainly flat, it is built on a lovely piece of olive grove landscape. The clubhouse is excellent, with a snack bar and restaurant. Panoramica is the most southerly golf course we use, positioned between Valencia and Barcelona. Technically Panoramica falls just outside of Catalonia, but the Catalans regard it as one of their own. It’s about a 45 minute drive from Cambrils, but if you are staying in the Costa Dorada for a golf holiday, then we strongly recommend that you make the drive, as it is a very enjoyable golf day out.

Off the back tees Panoramica is a long course, but the course is built on flat terrain, easy-walking, little rough, with four sets of forward tees. Can be enjoyed by all abilities although high handicaps need be aware that it is a championship course.
