If some of you wish to shop we can arrange to drop you off at the major shopping area whilst the others visit some of the sites.

Nou Camp
Home to one of the most famous football clubs in Europe. See the awesome stadium and take a guided tour which gives you access to the changing rooms and tunnel before you are escorted across the hallowed turf. Sit on the team bench and raise the European Champions Cup whilst visiting the Presidential Box.

Entrance and tour fees are not included. These are payable at the ground.

Shopping
Barcelona is amongst one of Europes major cities of style. Even the most serious shopper, looking to empty their bank account, will be impressed by the wide array of designer, high street and individual shops and markets. You will find everything from Jewels, haute Couture, designer furniture, crafts, antiques, cava and condoms!

Gaudi Buildings & Parks
Gaudi was one of the most influencial architects of recent times. Discover the fansastic Guell park, declared an artistic monument and world heritage site. The park contains amazing stone structures, stunning tiling and fascinating buildings. Once you´ve been amazed by his mosaics and statues it´s time to marvel at the hypnotic buildings he built and designed in Barcelona – most famously La Sagrada Familia. The magnificent spires, of the still unfinished cathedra,l are encrusted with a tangle of amazing sculptures.

Montjuic
The hill overlooking the city is home to the Montjuic museum which houses an impressive collection of Romanesque art. Looking down onto a series of terraces are beautiful fountains, the biggest called La Font Magica. This provides a spectacular display of music, light, colour & motion, shown on summer evenings. As we progress we find ourselves inn the Anella Olimpica ( Olympic Ring) which were the main 1992 Olympic sites. The views overlooking Barcelona from this site are not to be missed. We would recommend visiting this area early evening to ensure to receive the full benefit of the fountains.


La Rambla
A beautiful tree-line pedestrian boulevard which will stimulate your senses of sound, smell and sight. The walkway is packed with, buskers, living statues, mime artists, jewellery stalls, a noisy bird market, pavement cafes and other craft stalls. Here you will feel immerse in the busy vibrant culture that is Barcelona. A must for avid people watching. At the end of La Rambla you will see the Columbus monument which can be ascendd by lift for great views. Wander across to the harbour and explore the bars and restaurants for a lazy lunch of Spanish tapas and lots of wine!

Gothic Quarter
The Barri Gotic area is full of gothic and medieval buildings and is situated in the old town of Barcelona. The area is has interlinking narrow cobbled streets opening into picturesque squares, full of bars & cafes and craft stalls. The majority of buildings date from 14th & 15th Century, the most spectacular being the Cathedral.
